exmxc — Strategic Intelligence for the AI-Search Era
exmxc is a doctrine-led intelligence institution focused on how AI-mediated discovery reshapes
institutional perception, power, and capital allocation across modern markets.
The institution integrates strategic doctrine, structural interpretation, and
Applied Capital Architecture to understand how AI systems assign trust,
how power concentrates, and how those dynamics translate into valuation, capital flows,
and long-horizon competitive advantage.
exmxc analyzes how AI-search interprets entities, narratives, and categories —
and how those interpretations influence strategic positioning, acquisition logic,
integration risk, and capital allocation across the Four Forces of AI power:
Compute, Interface, Alignment, and Energy.
Institutional Mandate
exmxc exists to formalize how AI-driven perception translates into institutional outcomes —
shaping strategic judgment, capital allocation, and long-term positioning in the AI-search era.
The institution operates above tactical execution layers — focusing on structural architecture,
interpretive dynamics, and the compounding effects of perception, power, and capital across time.
Applied Capital Architecture
exmxc treats capital as architecture — not as commentary and not as marketing.
Capital allocation is shaped by how AI systems interpret institutions,
where structural scarcity forms, and how power concentrates across the Four Forces.
Applied Capital Architecture translates AI-era interpretation and structural constraints
into governed capital allocation decisions — aligning valuation, positioning,
and long-horizon asymmetry.
Capital deployment reinforces institutional independence, research depth,
and structural advantage over time.
Human Judgment Remains Primary — exmxc is governed by operator-grade
decision responsibility and institutional accountability.
AI as Instrumentation — AI systems amplify observation,
pressure-test interpretation, and detect shifts in perception and narrative.
Durable Accountability — Outputs are citation-grade,
schema-consistent, and structurally resilient across market cycles.

Founder & Stewardship
exmxc was founded by Mike Ye, an M&A and corporate development
executive with more than 25 years of transaction leadership across media, technology,
retail, healthcare, and asset management.
He previously served as Vice President of Strategic Planning & Acquisitions
at Penske Media Corporation, where he led enterprise acquisitions, divestitures,
and strategic investments across globally recognized platforms including
Rolling Stone, Billboard, SXSW, The Hollywood Reporter, Dick Clark Productions,
and Robb Report. He led the divestitures of HollywoodLife, BGR,
and TVLine.
Earlier, as Director of Corporate Development & Finance at L Brands,
he led the $778M divestiture of Express, supported the
$628M acquisition of La Senza, and helped execute a
$2.5B capital restructuring. At Intel Capital,
he managed the portfolio exit program during a period when the fund monetized
$5B+ across 500+ companies.
exmxc translates this institutional transaction experience into the AI era —
integrating doctrine, structural analysis, and capital allocation
into a unified strategic intelligence layer.
